Romania is a fascinating and diverse country. From the glue sniffing street kids of Bucharest to the gelly-haired fashion-obssesed trendsetters of Cluj Napoca, there's both poverty and wealth, beauty and ugliness. Things are rapidly changing and in January 2007 Romania will join the European Union along with Bulgaria. Things will change even more then. Here's some photos from various cities around the country to give a perspective on Romania in November of 2006 before it enters the EU.
