A session with Rachel and Emily, two artists from New Orleans who escaped hurricane Katrina and settled in Hot Springs, Arkansas to pursue a new life. I met them during my brief stay in Hot Springs in 2005 - 2006 and they became some of my best friends. Hot Springs is one of the most interesting places in the world that I have ever lived.

I shot this series with a Fuji S3 and 2 Nikon SB800 flashes as my primary light source. One flash was bounced off an umbrella and the other bounced off the ceiling.
